Kitchen Witch Gourmet Shop & Cooking School will host
private parties for any occasion. Birthday parties, bridal showers, baby
showers, and team building are great reasons to host a private cooking
class.
All classes include pre-printed copies of the recipes and food
& wine for participants. A 10% discount is offered to students on
all products except food and electrics.
The following information outlines our policies and procedures, however
please realize that each and every class is specialized and terms may
change depending on the specifics of your class.
* Date of Class: Our class schedule is planned several months in advance,
but we leave several dates open for private parties. Please let us know
as soon you can if you would like to host a private party so we can try
to accommodate your schedule.
* Instructor: You may either choose an instructor that you know, or we
can attempt to schedule one for you
* Class Menu: You may choose one of our existing class menus or we can
create a new one for you. Take a look through the current schedule (or
an old one) to get ideas and then decide whether you would like to duplicate
a class, adjust one to your liking, or start from scratch.
* Demonstration-Style Class: class participants sit and enjoy watching
a professional cooking instructor prepare dishes while describing methods,
tips, and tricks to make them a success.
Cost is $885 minimum, for up to 15 people. Each additional person over
15 is $59, with a maximum of 20 students.
Class length is approximately 2 hours.
* Partial Hands-On Class: these are for people wanting to assist with
the preparation and cooking of the meal, but not necessarily in its entirety.
Students are usually asked up individually or in small groups to come
into the kitchen and assist the chef to prepare or cook dishes as needed.
Cost is $900 minimum, for up to 12 people. Each additional person over
12 is $75, with a maximum of 20 students.
Class length is approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours.
* Hands-On Class: class participants are involved from start to finish
preparing and cooking their meal. Specific topics are usually chosen (i.e.
sushi, pasta, pizza, tapas, dim sum, etc); however we can turn any current
menu into a hands-on class. Cost is $950 minimum, for up to 10 people.
Each additional person over 10 is $95, with a maximum of 20 students.
Class length is approximately 3 hours.
* Children’s Class: children from ages 5 and up gain hands-on experience
creating fun and interesting foods. Class menus can be duplicated from
current/past schedules, or we can help you create a fun theme party.
Cost is $525 minimum, for up to 15 children. Each additional child over
15 is $35, with a maximum of 20 students.
Class length is 1 ½ hours.
* Deposit/Payment: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of
scheduling to hold your date and we ask that you pay in full at least
5 days prior to your class.
* Gift Registry: We would be happy to help you set up a gift registry
where participants of your group may choose gifts for the celebrated participant(s).
* Decorating/Personalizing: Feel free to bring whatever you would like
to personalize your class (i.e. balloons, name tags, pictures, presents,
etc). We will provide candles when appropriate.
