WHERE IS THE KITCHENWITCH? The store is located at 127 N. El Camino Real, Suite D, Encinitas, CA 92024, between Longs Drugs and Ralphs Grocery Store in the Encinitas Village Shopping Center ( northeast corner of the intersection of El Camino Real and Encinitas Boulevard) CLASS FORMATS & ETIQUETTE Classes are limited to 20 students. Class seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Seats may not be reserved until one hour before class and you must be present to hold your seat. We will no longer hold seats via phone calls. We will continue to make every effort to accommodate groups; however, we ask that you plan accordingly and have someone reserve your seat early to ensure that you will be able to sit together. Unless otherwise noted, classes follow a demonstration format and are approximately 2-2 ½ hours in length. Hands-on classes allow students to help prepare food in class and are approximately 3 hours in length. Learn-a-Lunch classes are one hour in length and are a fabulous way to spend a lunch hour with a co-worker or friend. Friday Night Dinner Parties are fun-filled events appealing to couples or friends who share a passion for cooking. Length of classes may be longer than stated, and specialty wine or cocktails will be paired with the dishes being prepared. Participants are asked to turn off cell phones during class. There will be a break halfway through class to make calls and shop in the store. Printed recipes are provided. Students taste food prepared in class and receive complimentary beverages. For liability reasons, students may NOT bring alcoholic beverages to class. Due to seasonal availability of products, Kitchen Witch reserves the right to substitute ingredients when necessary.

PRIVATE CLASSES Kitchen Witch can create special classes for private groups. Cooking classes are a great way to celebrate holidays, birthdays and anniversaries, and are ideal for club meetings and team development seminars. The cooking school calendar is planned several months in advance and certain dates are set aside for private classes; however dates are limited. To plan a private a class, call Kitchen Witch at 760-942-3228 and ask to speak with Evin Carriero or stop by and pick up an information sheet. CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellations made 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the class will be honored with a future class credit or full refund. If you cannot make the deadline for canceling, you may send someone in your place or we will reserve a copy of the class recipes for you. If there is a waiting list for the class and we are able to fill your spot, we will fully refund your registration fee. In the event Kitchen Witch cancels a class, you are entitled to a full refund or transfer to a future class. GIFT CERTIFICATES Kitchen Witch offers gift certificates for cooking classes and store merchandise which may purchased in person or by phone. DISCOUNTS A 10% discount is applied to all regularly priced merchandise on the day you attend class. Class discounts do not apply to sale items, future classes, food, or large electric items (i.e. Capresso, Cuisinart, Waring, Chef’s Choice).
